Abstract:
Increased recent activity in the evolution of EHF (20/30 and 20/44 GHz) satellite communications systems has resulted in corresponding advances in EHF component and subsystem technology. Accordingly, for current SATCOM system design concepts, this paper identifies key space and ground segment EHF transmitter and receiver technologies with respect to current state of the art and specific hardware examples.
